Is Jesus going to return physically or only spiritually?
Answer
Jesus is most assuredly going to return physically. And we know this because at the end of the Gospels. And we're sure of this because when he ascends, we are assured that he will return in like fashion. He's going to return just like he ascended. He ascended bodily, he's going to return bodily. The other reason that that's important is because Jesus is a whole. It's not as though Jesus sort of divides himself up. The Spirit of God is here; the Spirit of God indwells believers. Jesus has a body. There is a man in heaven now with a body, and that man in heaven with a body is going to return with that same body.
