Paul's Martyrdom

Question
How did Paul die?
Answer
According to church tradition as recorded in the Acts of Peter and Paul, Paul died a martyr's death, beheaded beneath a stone pile at Aquae Salviae near the third milestone of the Ostian Way. He was executed probably in A.D. 65 or shortly thereafter, and probably in an incident involved with the Neronic persecution of the Christians in Rome.
