Is Jesus the ONLY WAY to Heaven?

Question
Is Jesus the ONLY WAY to Heaven?
Answer

Absolutely, Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Jesus stated, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6; cf. John 3:36). Religion will not get you to Heaven. A denomination will not get you to Heaven. Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christian Science, Jehovah Witnesses, Mormonism, or Free Masonry, etc. will not get you to Heaven. Good works and special knowledge can't get you to Heaven. Jesus is the ONE and ONLY way to Heaven.

John 14:6 is not the only verse that verifies this fact. Jesus, God in the flesh, presented himself alone as the object of faith in Matthew 7:21-27. Jesus promised believers had eternal life (John 6:33). He alone is the bread of life (John 6:35), the light of the world (John 8:12), the door (John 10:7), and the resurrection and the life (John 11:25). Jesus' words are life (John 6:63).

Jesus is God (John 1:1). He alone was chosen by God as the one and only savior of all that believe (1 Pet 2:4). Jesus was born of the virgin Mary (Matt 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-38), lived a perfect human life (Heb 4:15), died (Matt 27:32-56), raised from the dead (Mark 16:1-8), ascended to God the Father (John 7:33; 20:17; Acts 1:1-11) and now sits on his right hand (Luke 22:69; Acts 7:55-56; Rom 8:34; Eph 1:20; Col 3:1; Heb 1:3). Jesus is the only sacrifice for sin (Heb 10:26; 1 John 2:2). He conquered death (Heb 2:14-15). He is the only mediator between God and man (1 Tim 2:5).

The disciples spent years examining Christ. When asked, "But who do you say that I am," Peter proclaimed, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God" (Matt 16:15-16; cf. Acts 4:12). The Apostle Paul focused on the death and resurrection of Christ (1 Cor 15:1-4), and when preaching in Antioch stated, "Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses (Acts 13:38-39). John too spoke of Jesus as the source of the forgiveness of sins (1 John 2:12) and eternal life (1 John 5:13). Only Christ can atone for sin, and therefore only Christ can provide salvation. "And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life" (1 John 5:11-12).

Eternal life in heaven is made possible only through Christ (John 17:3). Jesus alone is the only source of life (John 6:68-69; Rom 3:22). This is an established fact. The only thing that is not established yet is "Do you believe?" Repent and believe (Mark 1:15). "The Spirit and the bride say come" (Rev 22:17).
